I'm not sure I see an appeal of Scrintal for me I have used Scrapple, and found it useful for limited items. App onboarding seems to be the flavor (filter) of the month, but I think Scrintal is worth a Thanks for your detailed description. Scrintal is easier to see (up to a point, all of the cards are visible at once, but larger arrangements might not be so visible) and simpler to use, so I think it would be useful for doing some light project or idea mapping during video conferences, and maybe even collaborations when team editing becomes available. I use TB for some knowledge bases, but also for project and concept mapping, but it overwhelms some clients when I try to show it to them or use it with them. If you are a prolific note taker in TB or Obsidian, et. I am not sure how it will handle hundreds of cards and swapping arrangements on one desk. I think it is fun to use and easy to get up to speed with. I agree with that Scrintal has many possibilities for personal use. ![]() Task management is on the roadmap as well as other features, but I'm hooked on just works for me.and it would take a lot to move me over. Link arrows are one-way and can't be changed right now. There are other features like daily note cards and a few similar pre-tagged templates. Right now there is rudimentary sharing via a link so others can see a read-only version of an arrangement. You can click on a card it comes up front and center, and there is a way to have two frames with one card on one side, and whatever-video, another card-in the other to facilitate note keeping. The search function is rudimentary, but lists all your cards and tags. You link cards on a desktop and can save the arrangement, remove the cards, then build another set, swapping the arrangements because there is only one desktop. You can embed videos and graphics in the cards, and there is some light markdown formatting available.Tagging is fundamental because there are no folders, a bit like Amplenote. ![]() The backlinks are visible at the bottom of each card. ![]() Looks like Scapple if you've ever used that. It's built on cards, like Kaban, that you can link directly or through tags. I got a link to join their Slack Community, so will watch the traffic from I did the Scrintal onboarding yesterday.
